There is no need to book an appointment to come to the laboratory or to our collection centres. Patients are seen in order of arrival.

Yes. Bio Centre offers the option to make a secure online payment via Paylink.

Not always. Some blood tests require fasting for 8 to 12 hours, especially measurements such as glucose, lipid profile or other metabolic studies. However, many other tests do not require it. If this has not been clearly indicated to you, it is best to check before coming.

Yes, in general, you may drink water. What should be avoided is consuming food, coffee, herbal teas, juices or other drinks.

It depends on the type of medication and the test requested. Some treatments may affect certain results, while others should be continued as usual. Follow your doctor’s instructions and, if you have any doubts, please consult us before the test.

  • If you take anticoagulants, please inform us before the blood draw.
  • Some tests require certain medications to be temporarily stopped.
  • Never stop taking medication without consulting your doctor.

If you have visited a doctor affiliated with the CASS, we will only need your CASS number.

If you have a medical request form, please bring it together with an identification document.

The delivery time depends on the tests requested. The most common tests are usually available quickly (on the same day), while more complex studies may require more time.

Not always. Depending on the established procedure, the results may be available electronically or sent directly to the requesting doctor. In some cases, it may be necessary to collect them in person.

Biocentre has an agreement with the CASS and applies its rates.

Reimbursement by the CASS depends on the legislation in force. In general terms, and within the preferred pathway, the CASS reimburses 75% of the amount.

In accordance with the legislation, procedures carried out or prescribed outside an agreement with the CASS are reimbursed on the basis of 20% of the official reimbursement rates.

In the case of 100% reimbursement, users must follow the preferred pathway and Biocentre carries out the relevant procedures.
