BIO-CENTRE will never send you an email or call you by telephone to ask you to disclose or verify the password of your BIO-CENTRE account, your bank account or credit card numbers, or any other type of personal information. If someone contacts you or you receive an unsolicited email asking you for any of the above information, do not reply and immediately inform BIO-CENTRE, so that the incident can be investigated.

IDENTIFY FAKE EMAILS —'spoofing' or 'phishing' attempts—

Ignore any email you receive requesting personal information or redirecting you to another website that is not owned by BIO-CENTRE, or by companies within its group, or asking you to pay by a method other than that authorised by BIO-CENTRE, as it could be an identity theft attempt —'spoofing' or 'phishing'— and should be considered fraudulent.

BIO-CENTRE uses the domain “biocentre.adfor its emails. If you receive an email with a different format, for example: biocentre.security@hotmail.com, you can be sure that it is a fake email. Some phishing emails contain links to websites that use the word “BIO-CENTRE” in their URL, but will direct you to a completely different website. If you move the mouse over the link, you will be able to see the associated URL, which will probably have a different format from the links on the authentic BIO-CENTRE websites.

If you nevertheless click on a phishing email and are redirected to a page that resembles "Your Account" or any page asking you to verify or modify your personal information, ignore it and consider it fraudulent.

REPORT 'phishing' ATTEMPTS

Send an email to biocentre@biocentre.ad and attach the email that you consider to be fake. By attaching this fraudulent email, you are helping us to locate its origin.
If you cannot attach the fake email, forward it to dpd.biocentre@andornet.ad and include as much information as possible about it.
